I already made DH a card for Valentine's Day, but our 16th wedding anniversary is coming up next week....so I will give this card to him then..(oh the poor guy...to put up with me all these years, LOL).

After making the 1st card...I didn't care for it too much...so I made a few changes to it...still not liking it too much....Oh Well :(

OCC 1/21/10

I just keep reminding myself that Spring is almost here. I am sooooooooooooo tired of the cold weather. At least it's sunny here for today, but starting this evening and throughout the night it's going to get yucky again with a chance of freezing rain. Oh well...I think we only have 57 more days until Spring is officially here!!!

Crafty Creations Challenge 1/20/10

Here's a Valentine's Day card for my DH. I ripped, wrinkled, distressed and randomly stamped hearts onto it. I used an eraser to lighten up the hearts because I wanted them to look worn from being passed around in the mail. Hope he likes it.

Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge

I am not happy at all with my card:( I have tried changing a few things and I am still not happy with it. How can a card look so different in your head and when you put it on paper it's horrible?????????? Does the flower basket even look like a basket?????LOL. I really like the sketch so I think that maybe this weekend that I will try to make another card.

Crafty Creations "TEXTURES" challenge

My DH is getting this card today! Happy Birthday Ron...I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The challenge was to use 3 different textures on your card. I heat embossed, flocked, sanded, dry embossed and used 2 different types of textured paper. Make sure to stop over at CCC and check out all the great work!

Yes...I flubbed up the stamped/embossed sentiment:( Didn't have time to re-do it:( DH loves it just the same.

Project Tuesday 1/12/10 One Sheet Box Challenge

What a great project to do!!! I think this type of a box would be great for adding lottery tickets to for a B-day gift or a just whatever gift. I know that I will be making more of these!

I was excited to see this challenge...because I have clothespins that I have been wanting to get altered and just haven't. I used the From My Kitchen cricut cart for the cupcake and the wording. I also used my BIA (bind-it-all) to make the recipe book.

Our Creative Corner 1/7/10 challenge

It has been such a long time since I have used flower soft. I used it for the flowers in the vase. I love this stuff!!! I colored the water with a water color pencil and then used glossy accents on it to make it appear wet.

CRAFTY CREATIONS CHALLENGE

The challenge at CCC was to use black, white and a touch of color. I heat embossed the chickadee and the sentiment, and then colored the flowers and leaves with watercolor pencils. I used a punch at the bottom of the card...it's sorta hard to tell with the pic. (Sorry, I take horrible pics).
