Project Tuesday Flower Pot Card Challenge

This week at PROJECT TUESDAY our challenge was to make a Flower Pot Card. This is another project of mine that I will be mailing to my sister, even though she lives only about 15 mins. from me...she loves to get mail. I ended up using my WALK IN MY GARDEN cricut cartridge for the flower pot and welded two together, but if you don't have that cartridge or a cricut machine you can follow THIS LINK and get directions on how to make it. I made a pocket/pouch for the inside and added a little note to the front of it and put some flower seeds inside the pocket/pouch.

Make sure to stop by at PROJECT TUESDAY and look at the wonderful flower pots the DT came up with, and make sure you join in on the fun!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!!

supplies: Cricut Expression machine; Walk in My Garden cricut cartridge; Not sure which cartridge I used for the leaves because they were cut out some time ago for another project, but I used my cuttlebug and Distressed Stripes folder to give them some texture; Pooh & Friends cricut cartridge for the bee, which was flocked and I added stickles to his eye; Flowers are from the Home Decor cricut cartridge; K&Company paper; the flower pot was crimped on the bottom with a crimper; Swiss dots cuttlebug folder and sorry I don't know the name of the Fiskars paper punch that I used. (I hope I got everything listed)

PROJECT TUESDAY...TRI FOLD POCKET CARD

Anytime she is at my house she looks around to make sure that I have her picture out somewhere, which of course I do. Anyway I thought this would be a great project for her. Something that she could take with her wherever she goes.

As soon as I got home I whipped up this super cute birdhouse!!! I love birds so this was such a fun challenge. I did not attatch the raffia because I think that I am going to add jelly beans or robin eggs(whoppers) inside the birdhouse and use them for Easter treats. So I guess I will be making some more of these in the near future since I would like to use them for decorations for on the dinner table for Easter Dinner.

If you would like to make one or several of these little birdhouse you can get the templete HERE.

Supplies: Bird was made using my Cricut and Animal Kingdom cricut art, birdhouse is made with K&Company double sided paper, roof was punched using EK Success gh petal punch, 3/4 in. circle punch in the front of the birdhouse, Cuttlebug to cut Spellbinders miniabilities flower bouquet die and a circle was punched in the die so that I would not cover up the hole, a small piece of a reed stick for the bird to perch on and some raffia

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!!!! Make sure to go over to PROJECT TUESDAY and have a look at all the wonderful projects, and join in on the fun!!!!
