Father's Day cards and a frame

Wanted to share a couple of Father's Day cards and a picture frame that I made this weekend.

The 1st card is for my stepfather....Happy Father's Day Lon!!! The paper is makingmemories. The bluejay is from Pat Catan's along with the buttons.

The 2nd card is for my FIL....Happy Father's Day Bill!!! The paper I used is from the DCWV Travel stack. I cut the compass from the Stand and Salute Cricut cart and then stamped and heated embossed. The compass stamp is from Michaels.

The altered picture frame is for my FIL. It is one of those $1 frames from Michaels. I think that the paper I used with the stars is from JoAnns. The lighthouse and the seagulls are from Lifes A Beach Cricut cart.

Project Tuesday "Luminari"

This weeks challenge at PROJECT TUESDAY is to make a luminari. What a fun project!!! I don't have any nestibilities and I don't have a big enough paper punch that I was able to use for the center of the luminari...so I decided to make a cut file for a luminari using 2 cricut cartridges (George & Basic Shapes and Storybook) and design studio. I also don't have a battery operated candle so I had to use a real candle inside of the luminari just to take the picture to show you what it looks like with a light...DO NOT USE OR KEEP A REAL CANDLE IN THIS PROJECT!!!! I will have to buy some of the battery operated candles on my next shopping trip.
Make sure you stop over at PROJECT TUESDAY and check out the DT's awesome samples!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!!!
